Top revenue reports

Hi STMers-

I was reading on Dr. Ngo blog a tip to check the affiliate networks 'top revenue reports' to find out what is working. Thing is, I can't seem to find this on any of my networks (adsimilis, clickdealer, etc.)?!

How do you get this info, do you have to contact your AM or am I missing something?

Thanks,

-NateSundo

Yeah if you just email your AM for the a list of offers by revenue they will send you it.

However...

I'd recommend you asking for a list of offers by epc too, I've found a lot of gems that way, that haven't made it big yet so you get a head start on competition. Make sure they send offers that generate at least $100 a day, and are promoted using a similar traffic source to yours.

Ask your AM if they can send you a list of the top network offers by revenue.

Sniped. And yeah, you definitely want them EPCs.

I've been using the same strategy that Mr.Green mentioned.

Can find some really good offers that haven't hit it big yet.

How do networks know what traffic sources affiliates are using? Most of them hide sources with double meta refresh as far as I know...

Well when I said traffic source I meant whether adult, mobile, FB, search. Basically what the offers are built for.

And most networks are smarter than just hoping someone doesn't double meta refresh. There are too many spy tools out there to hide.

Got it, thanks

If the campaign requires some transparency on your part then an AM will have an idea of what traffic is going to an offer, e.g. if the advertiser wants to know what traffic is being sent (e.g. social vs display vs ppv). So, the AM may know someone is running a decent amount of display traffic but has no idea what specific traffic source/exchanges are being used...

Networks need to know what's going on so for the most part should have a good idea of how an offer is getting it's volume. Leaving things completely unknown is risky.

Yeah yeah thanks, but I thought he meant the specific traffic source like decisive, leadbolt, admob... not the general one like mobile, adult...

If an AM gives you specific tips like "run on leadbolt" , I wouldn't know if you be happy about the tip or worried about how they know that

ALWAYS as a network their top revenue offers and upcoing hotties, no better way to see what you should be testing
