Do Cookies Get Dropped During A PPV Pop?
Lets say I bid on hostgator.com and decide to pop my hostgator affiliate link over the domain.. Does that mean everyone who sees my pop has my cookie on their computer or do they actually have to purchase through my pop up window for me to get the sale??

If they are using Internet Explorer you will cookie stuff them since it's the same browser as the pop.
If they use FF or any other browser and buy later from IE , you still get the sale.

Just a note: a lot of affiliate programs (like hostgator's) don't allow PPV traffic..

I think what he is saying is that the popup is generated in IE regardless of what browser they are currently using, therefore the stuffed cookie will only count if they use IE when they make a purchase.

Exactly! With Leadimpact every pop comes from IE , no matter what browser are you using when browsing.
For TV , the pop comes either in IE or FF ( haven't tested with chrome yet ).
