Need a fix for Muse upload problems to Cpanel

hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone has an answer to this,

I tried upload my working file from muse cc using the ftp to my cpanel but the page does display my site. Instead, it shows up error 404:

Any advise how I can correct this?

is it a php file you're trying to access

Nope, it is a site I did in muse. After the ftp transfer, it pops up 404 error. So I close the window and typed out the domain I upload the site to, it works!

so I found that abit strange.

Oh well got that done.

Export the Muse project as HTML. Upload that manually to your site with something like FileZilla. Don't use something like Muse for FTP uploading, you're just making things less transparent.

You want to be able to see exactly what is going on. Besides, you will undoubtedly need to edit the landing page html code before upload (for tracking) so uploading via Muse is utterly pointless.
