I really like WiredTree!

It seems like KnownHost has decent pricing too.

Are you looking for VPS or Dedi?

liquidweb
Wiredtree

2 weeks ago, I took the advice of dr_ngo (from his blog) and went with Wiredtree and love it so far. They are the most professional hosting company I have come across and the support time is ridiculously fast.

I switched to liquid web and have been happy. I have also heard good things about wiredtree.

I tend to use Ramnode and DigitalOcean for rolling out SSD-based VPS on the fly, but there are many providers you can use. You will be in good hands with e.g. Linode, WiredTree, LiquidWeb.

ramnode Atlanta data center SSD VPS-s have very good ping times in LATAM, as well as USA
ramnode NL data center has amazing ping times all over europe

don't believe me thought, use a multi geo ping time tool and test it yourself!! (get ips from their support team)

PS: ramnode is unmanaged

If you want managed, servint.com in NL is great, (they are datacenter ramnode uses for their servers) -- also amazing ping times, but again dont believe just because I say so - use multi geo ping time tool to see yourself!

Also I need to change my hosting.
I am running a lot of popunder traffic in EU zone and my current vps is loading slow.

Which one is good for europe?

You could check serverbear.com - its benchmark comparisons for different hosting companies. You can compare disk speed and IO speed.

Its also a good idea to use litespeed/nginx and optimize your settings.

For popunders I would definitely:

1. Use a CDN for all static content
2. Use nginx or tune something else to handle the many concurrent users without killing your VPS
3. If loading dynamic (PHP) content then for sure have a VPS somewhere in Europe.

answered above

unmanaged SSD VPS -> ramnode.com NL data center
managed > servint.com NL

^^ All of what Zeno said. Popunders are pretty challenging for a server, so some optimisation can really make a difference.

servint is sold out for EU, other recommendations?

Don't worry too much about pings in Western Europe at this stage - they are well connected so you are likely to have fast server response times whether the datacentre is in Amsterdam, London or Berlin. Does it have to be a managed server? Setting up a VPS is not too difficult (I will do a tutorial of this in the near future) and you can also pay someone to set it up for you (not that I would trust a one-off freelancers with my shit).

I can't find a good managed vps/dedicated server in Europe.

your eyes are too small :P, http://www.hetzner.de/en/ or serverbidding.com if you want to get some cheap auctioned servers, but it is unmanaged

Thanks, I know them, but I need managed. I don't have tech skills or time to learn how to set up.

Bytemark - www.bytemark.co.uk - do managed servers, and they're very, very good. Not sure what their managed costs are, but worth asking.

My ramnode vps (4096MB RAM, 4 CPU Core Access, 45GB SSD Space, 1Gbps Port) crashed because of massive volume (popunders).

I just bought a dedicated from hetzner (Intel® Core™ i7-920 Quad-Core, 48 GB DDR3 RAM, 2 x 2 TB SATA 6 Gb/s Enterprise HDD; 7200 rpm), how this one will handle the volume?

What to do next?
