Please Help Me With Setting Up Peerfly Offer On POFpro

Ok, I'm sinking here...

I initially posted in the Plenty of Fish forum
http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...ks-Help-Please!

But I'm not making any progress and it's now been 2 days so I have decided to simply redo the campaign and resubmit it - in the hope that whatever I got wrong, I get right next time around.

I think I may have 'tripped up' with the whole tracking / Postback URL / subid thing. So I've been reading posts and articles and watching YouTuve vids on this but, to be honest, most attempts at clarifying this process simply succeed at complicating it.

I just need to know the steps...

So I'll outline here what I understand and add the questions as they arise and - hopefully - one of you kind and expert people will fill in the gaps for me:

1. In POFpro - I set up my campaign.

2. In POFpro - I go to the 'Offers' tab and click 'Add New Offer'

QUESTION 1: What do I put into the 'Tracking URL' field?
- the Affliliate link from Peerfly?

More steps to come, once I have the answer to this one...

Did you contact POFpro support? They're definitely the right people to talk to about this.

In answer to QUESTION 1: Yep, you should put your Peerfly affiliate link in there. You'll need to add {subid:} after your Peerfly Subid section - should look something like http://trkur.com/trk?o=3430&p=702341&s1={subid:} after you've done that.

Hi Caurmen, thanks a ton for posting. I really appreciate being a member of this forum!

Yes, I've been in contact with POFpro and Tom has been a fantastic help.

Ok, so I go to the offer page on Peerfly and I see an affiliate link:

EG:
http://trkur.com/trk?o=5530&p=123456

Under the affiliate link it says:

Add SubIDs (optional)
s1
s2
s3

(each of which is an entry field)

If I add the letters 'abc' to the entry field 's1' my affiliate link changes to:

http://trkur.com/trk?o=5530&p=115514&s1=abc

(it adds 's1=abc' on the end)

Question 2:
Are you saying that I must add the text string ' {subid:} to the field 's1' ?
- which would amend the affiliate link to: http://trkur.com/trk?o=5530&p=115514&s1={subid:}

Sorry for the 'belt and braces' approach but I'm concerned I've missed a step so I'm just making sure I have it all ironed out as best as possible.

Thanks again.

You're exactly right there. That should work.
