PPV Campaign - No traffic? (8)

PPV Campaign - No traffic?

Hi guys,

This is my first post here and I wanted to start with a simple question.
I am currently using LI for a campaign related to a movie niche.

I am ranking 1st place for all 10 targets I've added, but i'm only getting 30-40 impressions per day... WTF? I have a large campaign budget, account is funded properly and all of the targets I'm bidding on have an average 100-200k Monthly US visits. What numbers of impressions should I expect for this configuration? Or if definitely above those few hits what could be the problem then? The campaign seems to be profitable, LP CTR is 26% and I need to scale this NOW. Do you guys have any recomendations to get more traffic from LI? Even on my CA campaign I've got more hits on the same targets.

Thanks in advance!

hi wish, it might actually be that you are getting all the visitors that are visiting those websites AND have lead impact software installed.
Total US pop: ~311M, Lead Impact US reach: ~3.5M -> ~1%. 100k/month -> 1% * 100 = 1k/month -> 1k/30 = ~33/day. Times 10 targets this should be 330/day (if the 100-200k are unique visitors), but this assumes that the demographic of Lead Impact is visiting your targets like the overall US pop average, which might not be the case.. I don't know what CA is.
Another thing could be that others are bidding on keywords that overlap with your targets and are overbidding you, you could check this by setting a higher bid for a day and see if the # of impressions changes.
I was facing a similar problem, where I first thought 'WHAT??!', my solution was to find new targets

Hi jdrmar, thanks for your answer.

With CA I mean Canada, I am cloning this campaign to the US demographic. I will test out the bid raising and I am already on the hunt for new targets

cheers

Do not discount keywords . Some of my best ROI comes from them .

I was running some campaigns before and got nice traffic from them, too on leadimpact. Just today I made a new campaign, added around 20 targets, the worst target got 100k monthly visitors and the high one got 15million a month. I'm getting around 1, 3 visitors... It's really strange.

Anyone got any problem with targeting government domains, like getting no traffic from them?

Hi hippo,

I've added 250 more targets to my campaign yesterday using AffTools Url Scraper and his typo generator to create multiple domain variations for the top performing targets. Traffic incresed and I found some great targets.
Just throw them all into LI and let it run at least for 1-2 days. jdrmar's tip sounds good too: You could try to raise bids (f.e. for all your performing target's main domains) and see if the traffic changes the next day.

cheers
