New FB campaign - disapproved right away?

Hi guys,

I just set up a new campaign on FB but it got turned down right away.
Here's my ad:

Size:	13.0 KB

I've checked the TOS but they only state that stuff like guns and tobacco is forbidden.
Am I right to assume that it has to do with "Xbox" and/or Ps4 in the copy?

Cheers,
Stealth

What is your advert URL linking to? Is it your affiliate link directly rather than a tracking system you control? If my suspicions are correct you're likely hitting a PS4/XBone email submit - have you checked the offer page on MyWoT? It is probably red. If you have linked directly to an affiliate link I suggest you halt campaigns and rethink your strategy - since that is the easiest way to burn your account before accomplishing anything.

Thanks Zeno. No I've created a small LP with the Xbox One and the PS4 with links to email submits. I'm now thinking my tracking domain is blacklisted because whatever campaign I create it gets disapproved right away, whatever the topic. I've sent in a support ticket to the FB ads system.

Brand new domain? Using P202? Yeah if ads rejected immediately then the link has likely been blacklisted - the question is why was it blacklisted in the first place.

Ok, so it's not the domain. I just tried creating another campaign with a brand new domain name for the same offer (world of tanks) and it got rejected straight away.
This is weird stuff.

do they give you a hint at a reason at all maybe in the email they send you?

ok I wil give you one.. I just tried visiting the wotsignup.com page from UK and the network has a redirect on the offer url taking it to exclusive rewards generic landing page.

I'd take a guess that the ad reviewer is seeing the same thing if they are not from the geo allowed in the offer. I'd stop submitting direct linked ads which redirect, unless you want a ban.. even though, it's probably not you..

Thanks for looking into it Dynamicsoul.
The offer is for the US, so it makes sense that non-US viewers are getting a different page.
But the rejecting by FB seems automated. It happens almost instantly after I submit the ad.

Also, I iframed the offer on the domain, so it should be alright shouldn't it?

not sure.. I would think regardless of iframe if you are not from the US you will see a different page to what is being advertised. If it's instant rejection, I'd hazard a guess that your account has been soft banned for submitting ads that are breaking their terms. Try submitting a straight url to a website that is not WOT flagged. That will tell you.

I had the same thing. The redirect for foreign visitors. Dynamic soul is right. The redirect they go to has to be green on wot

Right, so what can I do about this? What do you guys recommend?

You are in control of the traffic and it is up to you to make absolutely sure that EVERY SINGLE CLICK goes to the offer page. No exceptions. Two approaches:

1. Ask (TELL) your AM to turn off all geo-redirection for that offer for you. If they use Cake then they can do this easily.

2. Implement your own geo-redirection. Many tracking systems have this functionality built it. What tracking system are you using? Are you running it on a VPS? Otherwise you can set it up on your own server and link adverts to an intermediary PHP script, that interprets and redirects the user as you see fit - either to the tracking link or to the offer URL directly.

In the mean time I suggest you

a) stop submitting ads for this offer
b) address 1 or 2 above - you will absolutely need this for future campaigns.

Let me know what your current setup is and we can move forward from there.
