Since last year I have followed and applied this "quote" in a lot of aspects of my life.

The rest of quotes I hear go in one ear and out the other.

In a world where most people believe one needs to push oneself -> success/achievement of sorts -> happiness from knowing/observing obtained successes, Abraham Hicks offers another perspective.

Their workshops and quotes have kept me sane for many years. And it was when I finally decided to change my perspective according to their teachings that my life finally started to take a turn for the better.

May be too "new-age" for some - but here are some of my fav quotes:

Thanks guys for sharing your favs as well - some of those have motivated me too!

"I haven't failed. I've just found a thousand ways that won't work" - Thomas Edison.

He patented the first electric lightbulb - the research for which is the subject of the quote - a very short time after giving that quote to a journalist.

Here's an interesting comic on Tesla and Edison: http://theoatmeal.com/comics/tesla

Personally I go by quotes that aren't too deep, I found they work better, like this:

Surprised there's no Shia Labeouf in this thread yet, good stuff haha:

The deepest one I've asked myself many years ago is "How much are you willing to sacrifice?" - There's a million quotes with a similar meaning, but I think everyone should ask themselves this question at least once.
