I've been looking at the best method to transfer Dollars from my USD bank account to my GBP bank account and i'm thinking of using torfx.com currency broker. Anyone recommend any others?
I just use my bank but i lose £100-150 each time i convert 10k USD to sterling (compared to the amount i see in xe.com). Can you get a better rate at currency brokers? unless i can bring it down to less than £50 its not worth it for me since i do most of my buys in USD and just exchange money when i want to spend for stuff in uk.
cash exchanges can give best deals especially if you don't ask for a receipt
TorFX are good. Worth it for large amounts.
I've worked with them for about 5 years, so can vouch for their integrity.
