Hey guys,
Yesterday I was thinking about the way I track my campaigns, and I realized I could get more data. (I'm using cpv lab)
Situation:
Testing 50 banners with 2 LPs and 2 offers.
Here I can see which banners have the higher ctr, cvr, and the same for the LPs and offers.
Problem:
Banner 1 had 50 conversions. But where? Through LP A or B? Or in which offer?
So, how do you get this data?
Do you set up individual campaigns on cpv lab for each LP and each variation? If you do, you have to re-upload all the banners, and if you're waiting for approval it's a pain in the ass.
Is there any other way? And does this make sense to you?
Thanks guys
You can do this easily with
I'm sure you can track that data in CPVLab without having to do crazy things with campaign setup. You'll need to filter your stats by keyword, because the keyword should be the name of the banner you're using (this assumes you followed the STM guide to CPVLab setup in my signature).
I don't have an active install of CPVLab right now to give you step-by-step instructions, but if you still can't figure this out and none of our other CPVLab gurus can help out, post here again, and I'll spin up a server with CPVLab on and put a mini-guide together.
Thanks @caurmen, I was only passing the ad name to cpv lab, I wasn't using the keyword. I could see which banners were generating conversions, but I couldn't see on which offer.
@caurmen does it matter in CPVlab which is tracked as a keyword? I'm tracking the "pub" as keyword, and pass an extra token for "ad"
