Tracking CPI and Pin Submits International (6)

Tracking CPI and Pin Submits International

I'm running a few CPI and Pin Submits internationally and have run into a few problems.

1. Conversion tracking never works (using Decisive and Voluum, I've read through the postback and offer URL guides in the tracking section about three times, I was able to fix desktop campaigns following that advice, but with mobile, no luck so far...)
2. Inconsistent tracking when testing: when I test out of Voluum, I hit the lander, click through and hit the offer page no problem. Testing through the affiliate network I am redirected after the lander clickthrough (I suspect because I'm in the wrong country).

I'm nervous that somehow I've fucked up my tracking so that somewhere out there I'm actually converting but I'm not getting the credit for it. I've read that click loss etc is pretty normal with mobile, moreso than desktop ads, so has this happened to you?

And lastly: if I my offer is actually converting, it's going to show up in the affiliate network regardless of my postback setup is, correct?

I've reached out to my AM, just wanted to get some feedback from the larger community.

1. Can you manually upload converting subids from your network to Voluum / Decisive? That'd be a good way to get your data back. Also, can you ask your networks to fire test conversions to see whether or not something's not working?
2. Try running a proxy for your target country, then testing the funnel again. If it's still not working then, time to ask your network some questions...

I'm having the same problem as well with conversion tracking with mobile CPI. I'm testing with F5, contacted the AM and it looks like I'm doing the right thing.

I would appreciate an answer too.

I'm with F5 as well. My AM helped me set up the postback link but I still can't successfully test it. I'm skeptical that this is functioning correctly because my landing page CTR is really high, so I would think some of those clicks would convert.

I think I'm going to launch a follow along on mobile tonight and breakout all the shit I do for tracking etc because I think it will help supernoobs like myself - the hardest part has been setting up my damn tracking correctly.

I see it convert on the network side, but it doesn't convert on my tracker with postback url setup.

Maybe I've just got a shitty offer then! It is helpful to know that you're seeing conversions on the network side, that's what I've been most nervous about.
