Hi all,
For some reason ads.pof.com/ does not display properly on my computer. Also, the few click-able links there are don't work.
I'm guessing I don't have some bit of media needed to display the page but I have no idea what it is (I haven't had this issue on other pages).
Any and all input would be very helpful. I'll attach a screen shot of what I see.
Thanks,
Evan

I get that as well! However, when I use an incognito tab, it works fine. That's my workaround.
Glad (I guess) that it isn't just my computer being stupid. Sorry you're having the same issue.
What's an incognito tab (noob question I'm guessing)?
Edit- According to Google it looks like a Chrome feature (I use Firefox). It sounded like it was the same as private browsing in Firebox but unfortunately even in Private Browsing the site doesn't work for me.
I guess I could download Chrome and just you your workaround but it sure would be nice (and effort saving) to get to the root of the problem.
Any other input Stackers?
I tried the site in IE and it worked just fine. The page looked normal and I got an account registered. I suppose it wouldn't be the biggest issue to just use IE for ad.pof.com but am still quite curious as to why it doesn't work in my Firefox.
Hmm, that's very weird. I'd contact Ben @ POF about this issue, since it seems like it's affecting a few people.
Yea I may get around to that.
I was also playing around in POFPRO learning how to create campaigns and the creatives I would upload weren't showing up. Support had me try changing my userfiles permissions (didn't work) and then had me try in an incognito tab in Chrome (did work).
I'm waiting on an answer as to whether we can make it work in Firefox but if it's multiple things that run on Chrome and not Firefox I guess I may just need to change browsers. Shrug.
I figured out the issue for both ads.pof.com/ and the POFPRO creative upload.
I had an add-on in Firefox called Adblock plus 2.4.1 (ironic I suppose given the line of work I'm starting out in). I'm guessing this was standard in whatever version of Firefox I have because I don't remember downloading or setting it up.
Regardless, with the Adblock disabled, both websites seem to work fine.
Was just about to say that... Definitely Adblock. Glad you figured it out! Note it will mess with a lot of advertising related platforms so make sure to disable it on your IM sites - e.g. all aff networks, traffic sources, tracking platforms, etc.
Chrome extensions are disabled by default in private browsing, thats why it was working in private sessions fyi (had the same problem with adblock)
