Could try media buying on platforms like Sitescout. There's a whole Media Buying section on this forum so you might as well give that a read through and see if that interests you.
Mobile or Web? There are tons of good mobile sources right now.

Well, if you're thinking to run adult of any kind, the various adult traffic sources (Exoclick, Traffic Junky, JuicyAds, TrafficForce, etc) have a ton of traffic.
And yes, RTB sources like SiteScout can be good, although they need a pretty high budget.
There are also lots of little traffic sources tucked away in various places for all sorts of demographics. I like Project Wonderful, for example - it's tiny, but it's sometimes very profitable. BuySellAds, etc, etc.

If you want to play with RTB display then try Bonadza - similar in many ways to SiteScout but only a minimum $300 deposit. They have also recently overhauled their inventory so better quality placements are available.
