Hey chaps,
I hope this is the right place to post this. I see that the general belief is that a lander is always the best option as it pre-qualifies the user.
I'm in the prescription pharmaceutical business (Viagra mainly) and adwords force us to use a lander and not link direct to a product page with prescription drug names on it. Some of the advertisers are getting away with direct linking, which annoys me because if they're able to get a higher CR then we won't be able to compete on a CPA basis.
From reading around what AM's do, you guys seem to think that a lander is better in most cases anyway. Would you guys agree a lander is still better with e-commerce product pages too (in a general sense)?
If so perhaps I'm overly worrying about competitors getting away with direct linking and I can test the shit out of the gateway page..... thoughts?
Thanks!
