WTF is Happening with My Ads
Tried to set up a campaign on Facebook today, here are my steps:
1. Set up tracking in Voluum with standard Voluum redirect
2. Go to Facebook, select website clicks, enter the URL
3. Facebook kicks it back:
You've entered a destination that can't be promoted. Please choose a different destination.
4. Set up a custom domain for my tracking URL for Voluum through a CNAME redirect, test it, everything flows through
5. Put in new custom domain tracking URL, create ads
6. Try to submit ads, get an error message about abusive content
7. Back out, try again, now the custom domain redirect gives me the same error as before:
You've entered a destination that can't be promoted. Please choose a different destination.
What the fuck is happening with this? Not spend hours troubleshooting linking an offer only to get shit on at the end of it. I don't even know if my creatives would have been approved. This is ridiculous.

Welcome to the world of Facebook. Which network are you direct linking?
Most networks are banned and trying to push through a direct link will get your account banned too.

I'm not direct linking, I'm using a tracking link to get to a landing page which links to the offer. I know they don't like direct linking because I tried that first and got nowhere. I think I actually put in the direct link for this network (Peerfly) earlier today just for kicks and it wasn't kicked back, so I have no fucking idea what's going on anymore. It'd be different if the ads were disapproved, I can't even get to that point.

Maybe their script follows whatever link you put in, have you tried changing your lander link as well?

I haven't changed it, but it is rotating through three landers at equal weight so it shouldn't see the same lander each time. I have no idea though.

Maybe your account is soft banned. Try promoting a random clean URL and see what happens.
Also, make sure you use a URL cloaker to disguise your outbound offer link. I find CPVlab's standard landing setup (base2.php) does the trick nicely.

I tried a peerfly link lately and it did this.
I assume their tracking redirect is banned.

I tried that, it worked fine, so it doesn't look like I'm soft banned...

Maybe that's it, although since I'm not direct linking I'm not sure why.

Peerfly isn't working for me on Facebook anymore. I used a meta refresh but last week it stopped working.

When this happens you have blacklisted the specific URL you are using. Any ads resubmitted with the same campaign URL will get rejected 'for abusive content'. This has happened because during the original link checking (!!which happens in power editor before even submitting an ad!!) you likely had an affiliate link in there that bounced the checking agent to a blacklisted page.
Recreate a new campaign to get a new unique campaign ID. This kind of behaviour will effect Voluum, CPVlab, MobAff and any other tracking systems that generate unique strings for specific campaigns.
NEVER have an affiliate link as a possible destination in your ad for ANYONE when you are first making the ads and/or editing/cloning ads in the power editor.
