newbie FB question

I have game offers approved. But, I still have few confusion about how the FB ad works. Suppose I need to bring traffic from FB to that landing page from advertiser (LPA) eventually to get the conversion. I need to come up with my banner and put it on FB. Now, what URL I should use? Thank you.

What is the proper way to do it for the following two?
1. drive the traffic from FB directly to LPA. with this. with. how do I do tracking.
2. drive the traffic from FB directly to my own domain with prosper installed. then drive traffic from my domain to LPA

Hi cottonsugar,

you need to use your Affiliate URL provided to you by your network.

1. usually, clickbank in my case, the affiliate url already has my userid and tracking id.
2. i'm using the second way for my landing page, and use iframe

@Denny With method 1, how do you track the CTR and CR of different banners you created? I heard that the banner has a big impact on CTR and CR. So, I plan to start doing No.1 initially to get a feel.

@Cottonsugar, it's easy because every banner will use different tracking ID, so I'll know which banner image give me a better CR. Btw i'm using facebook, the CTR is already in Facebook ads manager.

I did a bit search in the forum and find this. servandosilva mentioned to use meta redirect to get the tracking and approval. In my mind, redirect=cloaking. not sure if it is right or not(more precisely still work or not.

If you want to set things up with Prosper, check the Prosper link in my signature (below) - it'll give you a detailed guide on how to do things.
