CPVLab and POF instead of using POFPro

Hey guys! I'm starting to gather my tools to start my first campaign.

I just bought a starter account with Beyond Hosting (STM's coupon is awesome!) and I signed up for POFPro. I want to get my tracking setup right from the get-go.

Unfortunately support at Beyond Hosting told me that POFPro doesn't work well on starter accounts (RAM req. under what POFPro needs). Since I want minimum bottlenecks in my setup, is CPVLab a good substitute since I will focus my efforts only on POF for the next few months?

Thanks for the help

You might want to consider upgrading your VPS to one that can handle POFpro instead - the cost of doing that isn't likely to be more than the cost of buying CPVLab! Check it out and see what your best options are.

CPVLab is a decent tracker, and it'll work with POF, but the automation and spend tracking fuctions of POFpro will save you a lot of time swearing at uploaders or staring at spreadsheets

I decided to upgrade my hosting plan, unfortunately giving away my 6 month discount. Well... I think that's the price to pay to have a great system in place...

Well this sucks.

I also just signed up for the starter package and was planning on using POFPRO. I guess I'll end up in the same boat and have to upgrade my hosting package.

Which one did you have to upgrade to?

The 2gb ram one, at $65/month. Now I'll install POFPro and see how it goes. Trust me, it really sucked...

After you try it please let us know if it's enough. Thanks for being the guinea pig.

Ok I've installed it and it runs smoothly. The only problem is that I have to use a vpn located in the US to access my site via domain name since my DNS aren't fully propagated yet. Hope this thing will be solved tomorrow.
