I phoned Facebook earlier to see if I could get my account back after being banned about 18 months ago. The guy looked up my account and said "You were banned for violating FB TOS - you were scamming people. "Facebook does not allow affiliate marketing, collecting email addresses and spamming people".
I told him that I no longer did AM and had a new business and gave him my URL. The guy didn't even check my site out and basically said "I'm going to terminate this call. Goodbye" and then he hung up.
If I create a new profile and ad account with a new IP and billing details, will that be good enough to get back on Facebook?
Does the billing info have to match the name on the profile?
"facebook does not allow affiliate marketing" wow. I have a new account with a diff browser/ip/credit card/address/phone number and name. The reason for new phone number is that my account was instantly flagged as fraudulent and i had to confirm my identity with a new mobile number (prepaid). I added a middle initial to my first name. eg: Pete S / Duncan. That way my name matched my billing details, but was slightly different from my banned accounts. Hope that helps.
