Hey guys,
I decided to do some tight targeting to a Clickbank product that was just released with a VSL.
I ran facebook ads to it and have been doing pretty well.

I've looked through other posts here though.
I only get 0.100% CTR. I'm spending about $0.21 per click. I think it works because my targeting is good.
BUT, it seems to be dying. So I know there is money to be made from Clickbank and Facebook ads.
I think this offer might have died for me though.
What should I do? Find another, or not give up.
Here's my FB data:

I don't want to drop it because it seems good. But does it really die so fast?!
My Potential Reach is 10,000,000. I'm not even close to that and sales have fallen off a cliff.
Thanks. Any help would be appreciated.
Sort of related question for you: how did you link to the Clickbank offer from FB? I've had no luck trying to link clickbank offers.
I just took the landing sequence (5 pages) from the offer domain on my own, then hoplinked to the VSL.
No cloaker.
No, the site's landing page, not the offer's landing page.
Have you considered narrowing your target audience? It might help if you could identify a new target based on your current click through data; 10M seems broad to me.
I guess I should. But then I fear narrowing my potential conversions too much. I will break it all down and see.
Can anyone chime in and tell me if this dip is statistically insignificant or part of ad burnout?
:s
Thanks
Did you raise your budget all of a sudden?? I see your budget is $1000 daily but you have spent $2600 so far from 1st of feb
What Frequency are you seeing for your FB ads? And is it that your CTRs have dropped off a cliff, or just that you're getting less reach over the last few days?
I didn't raise my budget at all. I left it the same. I average about $250 per day spend. I thought (perhaps wrongly) that having a high budget might help with impressions. FB will still only allow my max daily spend to be $750, btw.
My frequency over the last 7 days is 5.20. CTRs are the same. I don't know if this screenshot will help:

Seems like my reach has dropped off a cliff. I had to pause it for a few hours and try new ads. It's annoying.
Because my max CPC is $0.22 I can't reach my max budget.
Thank you all for your feedback so far. I find it kinda weird. I'm new to this. It's all learning though...
You said your max cpc is 0.22 and your avg cpc is turning out to be 0.21. When you lower down your max bid, you lose your placements too thus getting lower ctr. It also seems like you ad has started to burn out. It doesn't happens all of a sudden but since your max cpc is just 1 cent above what facebook has been taking from you right from the start, so even a small drop in your ctr will prevent facebook delivering you more traffic since your bid is not upto their expectations.
I would say either you should change the image to freshen things up or increase your bid and see how facebook treats your ad (keep an eye on your budget before increasing your bid :P).
Thank you. I will try that. Is that the reason why it's gone from $300-$800 profit a day to negative?
the product you are promoting has 0% gravity in Clickbank..

I know. I am running traffic to it for a friend. I promised traffic if he created the product. My url directs to his. I'm happy to show you if you PM.
Are you sure all your sales are being tracked correctly?
Yeah, I have access to the CB account for now. We're setting up a tracking server soon, as I've been promised 100% commissions (of my traffic) for 2 months, then over 75% after that.
I'm working with a friend who I trust implicitly anyhow. So I'd be certain the sales are properly tracking even without access.
did you figure it out?
It sounds like he mirrored the offer page onto his site but had the video loading from the offer source (rather than messing with hosting it himself).
Not sure how well that would work though since many video hosters require you to whitelist domains.
A bit ambiguous nonetheless!
