Road to riches - with PORN

Im back and ready to go! I ditched the US market and ditched adxpansion..

Traffic Source: Traffic Junky
Offers: Adult Dating
Current countries: DE
Budget: $100/day
Tracking: Prosper202

Ive created 13 banners, 2 landing pages, 2 offers from 2 different networks.

To start, i plan on testing all 13 banners first. With 1 lander and one offer. Once i weed out the bad banners, i plan to start slit testing my landers. Once i find out which lander is doing better, i plan to test offers.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I will post my results as soon as my ads get approved.

PS. Im targeting one specific site for right now .

Just my personal opinion, I think you should also test the 2 offers and landing pages at the same time because sometimes some banners do well with certain offer and landing page combinations. The same banners might not perform as well with another landing page and offer combo. Then again, I'm still a noob so take my advice with a grain of salt.

So you suggest i test everything at the same time ?

Yea that's what I would do

As the offer and LP will probably have more impact on the overall ROI than the banners (unless you have some REALLY bad ones), I'd suggest you test the other way around. Offer ==> LP ==> banners.

Otherwise you could potentially kill banners that would work once you dial in on the best offer + LP combo.

i have added my other offers and landers to the mix. Thank you for the feedback

~~~The road to riches (with porn)~~~
I shall find a way, a fetish or two,
German Sheiza porn, an excess of poo,
through holes in bathroom stall dividers,
i see the light,
a road beyond riches, a wonderful sight!
the road sweeps left, semen encrusted,
tears of the leads, for the lander they trusted,
not a girl in view, oh what will they do,
but sign up again, to the next offer or two
ALWAYS test at the same time! Literally the TIME makes a big difference, day of the week, day of the month. Imagine "split-testing" LP1 the day before Valentine's day, and LP2 on Valentine's day. Results will be massively different.
So here are my stats for yesterday:
4 of my banners got rejected, and i created 2 campaigns. both with different placements on the same site.
Campaign 1= clicks:1 Impressions:249 CTR:0.40%(figured i have to bid higher)
Campaigns 2= clicks: 19 Impressions: 60,980 CTR: 0.3%
Lander 1= 100% CTR
Lander 2= 63.5% CTR
Conversions= 0
Still not enough data to determine anything. Im going to have to fix my tracking as well. but any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Moar dataz! You can't really learn anything from that much info - get more data!
BTW, your math for campaign 2 seems to be off - 19 clicks from 60k impressions would be 0.03% rather than 0.3% CTR. If that's the case, that's a very low CTR, and I'd probably recommend rethinking the placement or the banners unless the traffic is very cheap indeed.
Moar Moar Dataz! Haha, definitely need to let the traffic come in man you can't make any judgements on a campaign without significant data, let them balls loose!
im fixing my tracking.. just picked up CPV LAB. but im getting a strange 404 message on my campaign link. might have to postpone todays data
Todays Update:
Campaign 1 took a lot of my spend. Spent a total of $120.00. According to CPVLAB,
my average banner CTR is 30.37%.
Lander 1 = 32.46% CTR
Lander 2 = 28.31% CTR
Offer 1= 11.53% CR
Offer 2= 9.1% CR
For some odd reason, my tracking didnt track the conversions, so i dont know which banner converted.
*EDIT*: Added the SUB ID manually,
Banner 1= 1.8% CR
Banner 2= 3.57% CR
ROI= -80.17
2/13/14
after weeding out the offers that were not converting, and removing some banners with the lowest CTR. Im now testing ad positions on different sites. here are my stats for today. I feel so close to a profitable campaign
Cost: $11.42
Rev: $8.90
ROI: -22.1%
i raised my bid to bring in more traffic.
How are your CVRs for each of the landing pages?
Looking good!
LP1 = 7.4% CVR
Im testing a new lander, so i will let you know how it goes. im not getting much volume
One thing i learned today, dont sleep after putting a campaign live.
Tested RON on Exoclick, and in 3 hours this is some data:
Clicks: 3,318
Costs: $497.70
Revenue: $40.50
EPC:$0.012
P/L: ($457.20)
ROI: (91.86%)
Im stuck with this data, cause i dont know where i should optimize.
02-14-2014 01:05 PM #18 caurmen (Administrator)
How many banners was that, what CTR and CVR did each of them get, how many landers and offers did you run, and how did each of them do?
You've got some revenue there so there might well be the possibility to optimise to some higher-performing lander/offer/banner combo.
In addition to what @caurmen said about the best banner->lander->offer CTR/ROI, what sites have the higher CVR/ROIs? Sites are HUGE in ExoClick. Different sites can perform drastically different. When running RON, you need to be able to see and optimize on site ROIs.
You might want to choose a different img site. I can't read anything on those thumbs
Campaign 1 looks great!! Keep the traffic up man
LP2 is doing much better, pause LP1
Pause offers 4 and 6, keep the others going.
campaign 2:
Test more images, all is not lost. Pause lander 1, keep lander 2 going. Test test test more images for ads, something will shoot it over the line, also have you tested other offers?
campaign 3: This looks pretty shabby, is this the one that you napped on or was that another thread?
I would pause that, or work on a new angle not seem to be working
campaign 1 much potential pick up the traffic!
thanks for that awesome feedback, i really appreciate it. and campaign 3 was the campaign i napped on lol unfortunately. Also, CP2 was just an optimization of CP1. I cut out whatever wasnt working from CP1 and ran it as a new "CP2"
