I've been experiencing a certain amount of click "loss" on Traffic Junky and I'm not quite sure what to make of it. As an example, the data according to TJ for the last 2 days of one campaign are as follows:
February 8th, 2014: 445 clicks
February 7th, 2014: 546 clicks
When I go to prosper, and look at the "Real Clicks", I get these numbers:
February 8th, 2014: 357 clicks
February 7th, 2014: 424 clicks
Edit: On Exoclick, a campaign that ran had these stats presented on Exoclick:
February 6th, 2014: 867 clicks
On Prosper202 it shows: 750 real clicks, and 253 filtered out clicks
That would amount to a ~20% difference for the TJ campaigns. The thing is, if I click on "All clicks" in prosper, which includes clicks that are filtered out, they seem to match up. However, these filtered out clicks never result in any leads and are supposedly duplicate clicks (or, i've been told, if people are not redirecting properly from the lander). But if these are all just duplicate clicks, shouldn't some of them (maybe) result in conversions at any point? I've checked over the data and over the past few weeks, none of them have resulted in leads. I might just be paranoid but am wondering if this is typical? What does a ratio of of real clicks to filtered clicks like that mean?
