LI accounts

I lost my account (along with 5k balance) and another (1k) trying to create another account.

LI is now asking for ID/Passport for verification for suspicious accounts.
I don't remember having to do that when I first created my account.

What do you guys recommend? Does anyone sell LI accounts? (never heard of this)

That's weird. They locked mine last year because I'd gone inactive while working on other stuff.
Just set up a new account the other day. Filled out the form, sent them 1k and started running traffic.
Didn't have to verify my id or anything.

They didn't refund your $5k balance and they kept the $1k deposit for the new account? I'd file a charge back with your CC company.....

That's pretty shady and stupid them keeping the money.

With enough complaints they could lose the power to process payments.
