HMA vpn

Hi everyone,
When you are using a HMA vpn, how do you set it up? I just installed the software they have, and when I go for example to www.whereisip.net, while connected to the vpn, I see the location of my vpn, instead of my actual location. The problem is that when I'm spying on competition, some times I see LP's written in portuguese that should be written in english. I imagine that this happens because they're pulling my actual location, or I guess they're also pulling my browsers language (don't even know if that's possible).
My questions are:
1 - When using hma vpn, you download the software and use your credentials and that's it? Or should I configure my router on some other way or anything like that?
2 - When spying, do you change your browsers language?
3 - Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance

All you should have to do with any VPN service is download their software (preferably OpenVPN based) and run it. I've used HMA before with no issues, just download their client and input your credentials, select a country and hit connect. Check your IP on google to make sure it's working properly. I haven't had any issues with LPs showing in the wrong language....keep in mind some people don't always run the native language in that country (eg. Germany you will see english and german).

Hi @glennstacks , you're right about the language, but it seems pretty strange to me to see an LP in the US written in portuguese. I checked my IP and everything seemed ok, that's why I really don't understand. The only explanation that I can think of is that the owner of the LP is pulling, somehow, the language of my browser. That's why I was checking with you guys. Thanks for your input!

For added security, you might want to try browsing in Incognito Mode - it's possible that the LP is picking up on a cookie or something similar.
