Does Facebook traffic buy?

Hi!

I'm just wondering; has anyone been successful with paid offers on Facebook? I'm promoting a paid offer at the moment (see my follow along) but am really not seeing any conversions at all.

My target demographic is good (people who like stores associated to the offer and have thus spent money on this before) and my CTR is good, but people are just not buying?

Note that my offer is not too expensive ($29) and my target demographic tends to be decently cashed up.

Is promoting a paid offer on FB futile and should I stick to games / downloads? If not, what are the tricks of the trade here? Is it in the lander?

personally i never got success promoting paid products on FB, at the time I blamed the fact the people on social networks are just wasting spare time and aren't in "buy mode". Probably the problem was just my landers/targetting instead. BTW a banner placed on the right website should convert better than a FB ads.

I had much better success with Myspace.

But certain things sell for sure.

I have a new dog diet product on Clickbank that worked for 2 weeks, my highest profit being $800 in one day. Now sales have dropped off though. I'm not sure why.

I may have saturated the market.

I used a presell story. Kinda what Andre Chaperon teaches.
