Different countries / placements VS picking up a high traffic placement ?

I just started with Adult, and trying Exo, TJ and couple other traffic sources. I did burn close $50 on traffic and got just one conversion (wasn't hoping more ).. here is the question that's stuck in my mind, shall I burn a couple hundred dollars here & there on different countries / placements or pick up a high traffic placement & blowing it up with exhaustive tests on banners & LPs?

What's your overall available budget? That'll very much affect whether you'd be better looking for small pockets of profit or going guns blazing for the huge volume placements.

I would go with the second option. Pick one placements that you know it works ( see other people running consistently , i.e yourporn ntva ) and starting testing all you can there.

This way you have 1 less variable in the equation and you can play with banners and landers.
