as you might know we have moved away from paypal. This means you won't get billed automatically , and when your account expires you wont be able to access the forums .

Had the issue this morning.. just clicked to renew subscription, set it up through paypal again... cancelled the old payment and it all worked fine. Same login and user details.. All went pretty smooth.
So, there's no need to go back to Paypal and cancel anything, right? The Paypal cancellation will just happen automatically?

I manually cancelled my paypal auto-payment when I read this initially but I assume it would be done by them. I did it just to be sure since I hate paypal and don't trust them at all to handle basic stuff like not taking money for things that have expired.
Just wondering, how do i cancel the subscription now? Not that i want to, but in the future because its handled with that 3rd party company and it seems we dont have control of it now...
Mine was just auto-renewed...?
