Loop more than 3 times ad denied!!!

Hey Guys,

Im trying to figure out this new rule alot of networks are doing about no looping more than 3 times...

How the fuck do you fix that? If i have a gif that has a delay of .2sec/frame and more than 6 frames then how is it looping more than 3 times/sec.... Its not...

I sit and make ads and they all keep getting rejected...

If its a affiliate friendly network, then send them a quick email or Skype them.

Yeah, its even more annoying when its selectively enforced on your campaigns.

loop more than 3 times means that the animation loops only 3 times than stops, i.e. it becomes a static banners after 3 loops of the animation

It's easy fix with photoshop, just change loop to 3 times at the bottom.

0.2 sec is the cause of deny IMO, i saw that before.. changed to 0.5 and it was all gravy

I guess you mean incrowd ads (decisive now), this is their approval guidelines

http://help.decisive.is/knowledgebas...val-guidelines

These points will lead to your ad being disapproved, I've been there too

I quote

The first question we ask is: Is the ad misleading?

Explicitly Misleading- Does the banner link to a dissimilar landing page?
Implicitly Misleading- Does the banner mimic native system alerts or a mobile system element?
Does the banner attempt to mimic the look and feel of another unrelated app/site or links to an unrelated app/site?

The second question we ask is: Does the ad significantly disrupt the user's experience?

Does the animated image loop more than three times?
Does the landing page have alert popup boxes when the user immediately lands on the page?
Does the link to the landing page work?

The final question we ask is: Is the creative appropriate?

Is the creative or landing page illegal?
Is the creative overtly sexual content?
I still don't know about other networks.

Anyone notice this rule with other networks?

Yes, it's very common. Google allows a maximum animation length of 30 seconds... I've worked with others with a 20 second limit. It doesn't tank the CTR in my experience.

You can come up with some tricks to make the loop longer. For example, if you have a gif with a blinking logo make it blink 10 times and then make something else blink (like a button) at the end. This is now 1 loop instead of 10 loops.

There are IAB standards that ad networks need to comply with.

The days of mobile being the "wild west" is over
