Besmir, would you say CPC for RON on other networks, like Juicy Ads? Or would this just be for Exo?

I think he means when a traffic source's RON is low quality traffic, you should bid CPC. There are networks whose RON is still considered premium. Might want to go with CPM. CPM still wins in the long run anyway after you've gone past the testing phase.

Generally it holds true for most adult networks.
The reason is that when you do a RON CPM your banners might be showed on the footers or under the fold spots that get rarely seen and clicked.
So it's safer to go CPC and pay only on "results".
For premium you already know that in most cases placements are generally NTVA , NTVB , InPlayer etc ( higher CTR )

Thank, Tom! I actually have one campaign that's doing well on CPM since the sites seem to be good placements (generally really high CTR as well), but I'm testing CPC on the non-profitable sites to see how things play out.

higher CTR and generally higher quality of traffic.
although obvious but a few months ago I wanted to compare footers to NTV A/B
although a shit CTR for footers but worked out to a cheaper CPC. except in the end they just weren't converting and seem to be basically useless unless you are advertising just straight porn

depends what are you doing, mobile or web..
for mobile the 300x50 (320x50) banner spot is better because that is usually above the fold (300x250 on mobile is placed below the fold, around the footer usually)
on web 300x250 but unconventional sizes like skyscraper or huge 728x90 banner, or even custom sizes work great .. remember you want above the fold, thats the key here.. where it gets the most eyeballs

Go to the actual site
Check where the ads go
Profit?
Of course you will not know the actual CTR, but everything above the fold is always going to be better than under the fold. And the video spots always perform very well due to visitors spending a lot of time there. You just have to come up with a banner to distract them from what they came there to do.
