Godaddy hosting with Prosper?

Hey everyone,

I'm new to AM and trying to get started with a pre-existing hosting account I have with Godaddy.com. From what I understand, I need to get a tracking software installed so I opted to use Prosper202. Is there anyone out there that has experience with installing Prosper on a Godaddy account? Is Godaddy an ideal hosting setup for AM and Prosper? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I think godaddy is a very bad solution to host prosper.

It's shared hosting and it never works out well if you do any minimal volume.

epic failure setup, domain registar is good for registering domain, not for paid traffic, get a decent vps from a reputable host

Our current recommended host for Prosper202 is BeyondHosting.

On top of making installation easy, awesome customer service, etc etc signing up with them via our link helps us to keep Prosper202 free.

Rackspace, Linode, Liquid Web, and Media Temple are all very reputable hosting companies that offer Managed VPS plans. It would hard be hard to go wrong with any of them.

Beyond Hosting is another option, they have a sale thread on this forum. Some on this forum haven't been happy with their service, but there are also plenty of cases of them bending over backwards to get their clients up and running. They have a ton of experience installing and managing affiliate tracking software.

On the contrary, Prosper202 is not being kept free. Versions 1.8 and above (like the one in your sig) are paid only solutions. Version 1.7.2, released in October 2011, is the latest free version.

Ok, Prosper202 1.8.x is currently a paid product...
