I'm looking to getting started in PPV. TV and LI seem to be the only legitimate traffic sources for it, but require a min $1k deposit. Thats a little intimidating for someone who hasn't even ran a ppv campaign before. Most of the threads in here are a little outdated, so I'm wondering if theres anywhere else worthwhile to test the waters? Anyone have feed back from 50onRed? Thanks!
I have heard good things about 50onred from several people. I never got a chance to try it though before I switched to mobile.

50onRed are good but as soon as you have some spare money I would move into LI / TV.
50onRed.. great platform, great ad types, great support, quick approvals.. shame the traffic is kinda crap..
Quality of traffic gone south when they started to act as a company with huge amount of traffic, but they have a limited amount of users.
In 2012 they was great, the only kind of campaign you could create was the "intext" one. Last year they added popups, popunders, PPC/search.
But the user base is still the same..
Yeah, 50onRed traffic quality just isn't the same as it used to be.
TV has wayyyyy less volume and is much more expensive then it use to be also, at least from what I was working with a few months ago.
LI are good for volume, but be aware they run internally and have been know to hijack your campaigns... Hell they got in with an advertiser I was working with once and retro-disapproved all my shit so they could run themselves.
There's a reason why TV, LI, 50onREd, etc are the big players in the industry.
Some of the smaller guys have pretty mediocre quality.
