As title says I'll be promoting one of my own eCommerce-offers on Adwords. This is a single product that has been a best-seller in one of my webstores, so now I'm currently setting up a separate store for this product alone.
I will start out with Adwords search, and if I get the same good (or hopefully better) results than I currently do with the product in the multi-product-store, I will scale to Google Display as well (never tried that before!).
I have a few questions while I get things set up here:
1) When you own the offer itself, would you send the adwords-traffic directly to the offer page or via LPs? Since this store will sell this single product only I can optimize the offer-page a lot, without having to worry about other products grabbing the visitors attention. Or would you also set up different campaigns with unique LPs for each angle and see what works best?
2) Any of you have better results with promoting on the display-network vs the search-network? Any special niches/product-lines that tend to do better in display than search?
A little side-note:
I am pretty sure this product would convert well on Facebook. But I am scared as shit to open an ad-account on Facebook after all I've read about account bans lately. I am VERY eager to promote offers on Facebook but since Facebook-staffs are also frequenting this forum no one share the info of how to set up new accounts if they get banned. Please note that I only intend to promote legit offers, nothing shady at all, but I don't want to risk losing my personal account due to FB staffs having a bad day or what ever.
If any one would be so kind to send me a PRIVATE MESSAGE and share some more detailed info aout how to actually be able to set up and keep (or get new) ad-accounts at Facebook for promoting legit offers I would highly appreciate it. I know it might involve VPN/proxies, prepaid creditcards etc, but no idea how to solve the ID-docs for example. Sorry if this was inappropriate to post, moderators may delete this last part if needed.

Anyway about the facebook account. As long as you promote legit stuff you have NOTHING to worry about. Your personal profile account will not get effected even when they ban you.
