FB Direct to Offer n00b question

Hi guys,
I have been reading for a couple of weeks and I have a pretty good idea of how I will learn affiliate. I have finished the how to learn affiliate thread & speaking to mentors. The traffic source I decided to start with is fb. I know a lot of people will say that is a bad idea but I am not going to be running anything shady (to start). I would like to start with games. Basically a game where you fill out 3 or 4 fields and then the user gets to play. My idea is to keep things simple while I learn and landers add unnecessary complexity for me right now. I will move to them in the future however once I have a better grasp on things.

I have installed cpvlabs (I would prefer to learn on what i will end up using in the future instead of learning prosper <which is not longer supported so there are no security fixes, bug fixes or features>). I have joined 4 networks and I have a couple of offers I am interested in. My next step is to read the user guide on cpv and there are a couple of threads on this forum I bookmarked to read about it.

Here is my question. From what i understand the link from the ad has to point to cpv labs since that is the middle man.

I was reading this: https://www.facebook.com/help/443646595675283/

And based on this:
Any vendor collecting Impression Tracking Data ("Third Party Ad Tracker") must be certified by Facebook. Any Third Party Ad Tracker who is not certified by Facebook by January 1, 2011 will not be allowed to implement any technology that collects Impression Tracking Data, including tracking pixels or tags.

I am confused on if I can do this (have a fb ad point to a cpvlab link which then forwards to the offer).

Sorry if the question is unclear. Please ask me follow up questions. Thanks!

CPVLab is tracking click data rather than impression data, from Facebook's point of view. So you're in the clear there - CPVLab is OK to use, as it's " the use of a unique tracking URL off of Facebook."

Hi,
Thanks for responding. I have enjoyed reading your posts. You seem very proficient in mathematics. So the ad can actually point to the tracking link? It does not need some kind of url forwarded or some kind of cloaking? I mean I will find out when I put the ad in either way but I am curious what I am walking into.

Thanks
