A Mobile Offer?

Hey Guys,

I've wanted to make a mobile offer for a while, and I've had
a ton of ideas but... no idea where to start (sort of).

Anyone that has a mobile offer have any tips?

I'm also wondering why there isn't a "Advertiser/Merchant" section in this forum for
people looking to start offers, etc.

Cheers

You mean you've got a mobile product that you'd like to set up an affiliate program for?

I'd post in the Networks / Offers forum - I suspect you'll get some interest!

Hey Caurmen,

Nah bro. I'm looking for some advice on creating one I guess that didn't come across

"Mobile offer" is a pretty broad term. I see three major types; app, lead gen, pin submit. I've been involved with building an app, and lead gen campaigns, but haven't created my own pin submit campaign.

An app is relatively simple, and there are threads about creating them.

Lead gen, I would read through the guides/case studies of guys running their own mobile email submit campaigns. This is the most documented, and I'm sure web based lead gen campaigns would be useful too.

If you are thinking of a pin submit, that is a lot more challenging. Compliance is a huge factor here. Short code fun. Mobilemessenger used to be the go to guys to get one created, I don't know if they are still relevant.

In regards to placing your offer on networks, need some feedback from STM advertisers! Holaa!!!

Thanks for the detailed reply!

Already working on an app and following the threads regarding app creation as that is something I am
highly interested in.

I'm already in the midsts of creating a mobile lead gen offer just having some probs getting into "Integrate.com"
to sell the leads. I was unaware it was so well documented. Will do some more research!

I was actually asking about pin submit's. And yep, it seems the most challenging, as I've done some research and
some of my ideas have gone out the window due to compliance/carrier regulations.

Cheers

Why don't you partner up with a PIN submit advertiser? If you can bring the traffic they can give you a customized offer and possibly a competitive CPA

^^ Probably the easiest way to do what you want.

You don't have to do any work, you get a custom offer, and it's exclusive.

This had crossed my mind, I will definitely give this a run.

The reason I would have gone with a subscription offer is because the margins are higher and the recurring revenue is just golden.

Thanks

^^ I'm sure some will have no problem doing a rev share deal with you.

I can tell you that premium sms advertisers do not have high margins in most cases and that there is no way in hell that they will share monthly revenue. Example: advertiser pays a CPA of $30 to get a subscriber, subscribers get charged $7 directly on his phone bill, advertiser only sees $3,5 of this. Half of the customers unsubscribe directly after the first charge. The other half then needs to stay subscribed long enough to earn back the $26,50 to break even on the CPA cost.
