My team and I are running app installs, just getting our feet wet in this sea of opportunity and wanted to ask a question to those who've come before us.
1. With Pop Networks, Has anyone tried HTML Banners, to LP? And if so did you have any success?

I had a few profitable campaigns popping simple html landers on mobicow.. however, it's hard to get decent volume for certain offers due to advertisers only accepting certain carriers.. If it's a wifi offer though, accepting all carriers also, then you might have better success. Your landers need to be a "Jump through the hoop" type angle to get any sort of decent CTR tho...
a tip for that actually.. I made an animated gif banner.. kept the file size low, and sized to about 700px width.. then set it up with CSS max-width/min-width so that it contracts to around 280px min and 700 ish max.. this then covered most handset sizes, and would look ok on some tablets too.. Got a decent ctr through to my campaign from that..
Two important things with pops
1. Keep the file size as small as possible
2. Get the user to click the pop, think HIGH CTR first, conversion tactics second.
