Any new comers going to affiliate summit Las Vegas?

My name is Chun, I'll be attending affiliate summit in Vegas and want to meet some new comers to form a close mastermind with. I work in the restaurant business and over the years I noticed that some people can form a close bond with another person within just days of knowing each other and be long term friends but some people can work together for years and never form a bond. It seems as if people have different frequencies and the ones that have similar frequencies just form bonds with no effort. My main goal for this trip is to meet and find like minded people to form a close bond with to make it together in this industry. Ideally 2-3 people to share everything with. Skype masterminds can be nice but it's missing that personal touch that comes with in person interaction. I'm looking to make real friends that'll help enrich my life and vice versa. If u're interested please leave your Skype or even pm me your phone number and we'll schedule a meetup in Vegas. I'm sure I'll see most of you at the STM meetup also. I know this is a short notice since the event is starting in two days so hopefully we'll get some people on this and hope everyone get something out of it. I know I'll make it in this industry for sure, it's just a matter of time. And hope a mastermind will help speed up the process.

Looking forward to meeting everyone on STM at Vegas

I know a few first timers coming for sure. But yeah probably bad timing as most ASWers are in transit as we speak. You will definitely meet some like minded people at the meet up mate.

Any advice on ASW tickets? I don't want to attend any of the presos but would like to attend the meat market and networking. I am getting in on Sunday. If anyone wants to connect send me a message.

If you just want to go to the meat market I'm sure you can borrow someone's pass for an hour or 2. I'd offer you mine but you may confuse quite a few stmers.

@Chun

1. Hit up as many meetups as you can, talk to everyone

2. Go along the floor, stop at every booth, talk the talk, see what they can do for you

Meeting and talking to as many people will give you SO many ideas to come home and work with

Thanks for the advice Stackman. Will try to meet and talk to as many people as I can.

ASW is what got me into affiliate marketing in the first place. I had just lost my job and took a trip to Vegas, but I was broke. I looked up what conferences were going on, and I learned enough about IM from google to sound like I knew what I was talking about and crashed a few parties. The people I met made me realize that I did have a bit of experience in affiliate marketing in the past (I just didn'tk now what it was called) and I was so inspired by the people I met that I went back to my hotel room at 4 AM and taught myself PHP and built an e-mail scraper (I was going to be a big time e-mail spammer you see).

In my opinion, ASW can be awesome for people who are new to the industry and veterans alike. I've met a bunch of great people every time I've been (this is my 4th year attending) and I've definitely learned a lot and made money as a direct result of connections I wouldn't have made without ASW.

As for passes, I know quite a few people who don't even bother trying to get a pass to the conference anymore, so I wouldn't sweat that too much. The first time I went I didn't have a pass either, and it was still very worthwhile.

So if it's your first time at ASW, enjoy and I hope it helps you make a lot of internet dollars.

^^ Well said! This is my 5th ASW I think. My first time my mind was blown even off just pure inspiration. Even after my 5th time I know I will get a lot of value out of it.

Hey Chun, this is also my first ASW. I think it is good just to see what is possible, just be prepared to have a lot of people trying to sell their service/product to you. Just a small tip, today is the internext expo as well and at 4pm they have the meet market going on.

Oh and if anyone wants to meet up just send me a pm and I'll free some time from the poker tables .

Just landed in Vegas. I'm going to the Internext meet market today also since I'm mainly promoting adult offers.
