Newbie looking to hire Affiliate Mercenaries

I'm launching a business in a few months and want to put out a great deal for affiliates to help me spread the word. What is enough to incentive people?

I was thinking $12 CPA? I've never done this before but I'd rather hire it out to experts instead of learning everything myself.

You will need to supply a bit more information for people to know what its about,

What sort of product is it, and what will the user have to do for the $12CPA

Cheers brah!

Ya more info needed. Money is a good incentive. Easy money is even better. No one cares about the CPA initially, it's gotta be able to convert well first.

We're going to be launching in February, and it's a real estate rental discovery tool for New York. Think like Zillow, but only for Rentals. I think we'll be charging users $29 per month. Instead of using a broker which would cost a renter $6000 (15% of annual rent). We cut out the middle man and put you directly in touch with landlords, so no broker fee is required.
I'm positive it's going to convert really well.

What other information do you need? I can e-mail it, post it, DM, etc.

Sounds pretty interesting, just having moved in NYC I can relate to this...

Have you ran any internal tests so far to see what kind of conversions you're getting? I'm also curious what would separate this from free services in the same market (streeteasy, craigslist, padmapper, nakedapartments, etc..).

There's quite a few differences. I'm going to DM you some more information.

Banners I'm running on another site are running at 1.1% CTR which seems good.
