FTC Announces Initiative Against Deceptive Claims ......

They will pick a few of the morons who are blatantly breaking the rules to make an example. Everyone will get scared for 3-6 months and then it will be business as usual. I have seen offer pages that go out of their way to be compliant and I have straight up seen offer pages that are including Dr OZ and other dumb shit.
Make sure you are compliant and if you are running your own offer make sure you have a decent FTC lawyer. Otherwise just switch over to anti aging....
They are now aggressively targeting those who market such products, and not just the product manufacturer.
I would urge you to stay away from diets and diet rebills in particular, and if you are using any misleading advertising (fake before after images, fake testimonials etc), you stop this and move into other areas.
I have also heard rumours that they will start hammering down on affiliate networks themselves, especially if they have been promoting such offers aggressively. It is probably not a good time to be an affiliate network owner right now ...
