Question on Campaign Setup (3)

Question on Campaign Setup

I'm looking at launching a new campaign on Exoclick that would target multiple traffic sources. I'm wondering if it would be best to create one campaign for each traffic source (i.e. - one for pornhub, one for xhamster, etc) versus one campaign that selects each of the desired traffic sources.

I'm using iMobiTrax and Exoclick can pass through the traffic source information, so I do have the ability to break it down on my end.

The reason for the question is because I've seen some odd things with other traffic sources in the past where one would be favored over the others, and I ended up getting very little to no traffic from some of the sources in my campaign. I didn't know if this happens on Exoclick or not or if it's just good practice to make sure a campaign targets a single traffic source or not.

What are your thoughts?

I used to create one campaign with multiple placements/sites - but like you said, it's hard to tell how it's splitting up the traffic, regardless of your specific bidding on each placement. I think it's better to use one site per campaign in your traffic source. You can still use the same destination url pointing to the same campaign in your tracker if you wish - but it seems like you get more control over your traffic if you split it up on the traffic network. Plus diff. banners using diff background images work better on one site than another (if nothing else, because of the color scheme of the site). Considering Exo only gives you 10 banners per campaign, I think it's better to split those up per site.

I would create a separate campaign per traffic source. Much easier to manage.

Also using their pixel makes optimization way easier and faster so I suggest setting that up too.
