How to organize landing page tests?

So I want to initially test 2 different lp's, then make variations of the winner, etc etc.

My problem is I don't want to create a super unorganized cPanel with lp subfolders like http://www.myadultdatingsite.com/cou...ation1/lp.html http://www.myadultdatingsite.com/cou...ation2/lp.html This would take a ton of time and lack any kind of true organization.

I know that unbounce and similar stuff doesn't work too well for what we need, from what people have said. So how do you guys do efficiently and organized?

Thanks

You have 2 options :

1 - Use a multivariate split-testing tool ( LP genius plugin for P202 /CPVlab , Visual Website Optimizer etc ).

2 - Use an organized folder structure like EN/Split/1 EN/Split/2 etc. After you have a winner move it a level higher EN/LP1

Get beyond that mentality, it's the least important thing. Just get em out there and start testing. It won't take any less or more time: run an Evernote notebook or pen & paper and keep adding variations. Why would you need to create a diff folder every time anyway? Well, thats not the point. Just get em out there and run traffic! Its the only thing that will make or break your banking statement!

..On the other hand, moving pages between levels sounds interesting Never thought of that

@ bbrock32 so if I wanted to use your map lp for example, and use it for different countries. Then I would simply do www.domain.com/us/map/lp1.html..right?

And of course map could be substituted for any split test. So it would simply be copying the original lp and adding the map, then doing that for every country right?
