Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays 2013

I just wanted to wish everyone on this board a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

With all this industry's hype, excesses and success stories (some of them which are even true), it is easy to get carried away and lose perspective on things that are important in life.

At the end of the day, friends and family are what matters. Most everything else is secondary.

We are all busy and many of us lead stressful lives, but at least for one day in a year, let's not forget how important our friends and family are.

There is no question that 2013 has been a challenging year for many people in online advertising. The game has always been tough, but it is definitely getting tougher.

A lot of the easy money is no longer available, and this means that everyone will have to start truly innovating ... ideally in finding new ways to provide real value to consumers and advertisers.

2014 will be an important year ... one that starts to separate the players who can build sustainable long term businesses from their skills, assets, and relationships as online marketers and those who cannot.

I hope everyone on this board will make their way into the former, and I wish everyone much success in this endeavour.

Merry Xmas to you too!

Agreed family and friends are first. They keep you grounded, they refresh you and pull you away from that constant 247 mind fuck which is affiliate marketing.

Bless em!

Happy holidays!

Stay grounded, buy your family some warm sweaters and your friends some strong shots these holidays, and it's a bit late but donate to kids gift charity's. I saw a reddit story the other day about how redditors chipped in to get this kid a chriastmas tree and some gifts. You can't always see what others don't have.
