Anyone have experience running the Stardoll campaigns on facebook?
Like the ones that have you dress up a doll and things like that. I keep on getting low ctrs around .05
Using images like these:

Any idea on how to build an angle with this offer? or how to better target my audience other then 13-17 year olds? This campaign is in Sweden

We ran stardoll for a while with images similar to the ones you've put up..but couldn't get it profitable. The offer converts at 25-30%, but wasn't able to get the ad CTR to more than 0.15...so it kept breaking even.

Never ran before but I think you could come up with some interesting angles that are more targeted than just saying "dress up a doll" etc.
Just looking at their About page, I see several things you could try:
1) "Shop for designer brands" - Keyword target designer brands that are popular among teens, use images of the products instead of Stardoll images.
2) "Dress up celeb dolls!" "Join celeb chats!" - The whole celebrity angle could work well. I would find out what celebrities are involved in the product and target those keywords. You'll probably want to doublecheck that they have licensing agreements with these celebrities or you might have pissed off celebs contacting you.
3) "Make new friends!" - You could think of it as like a dating campaign for teens that want to make more friends. So find interests that teens have in common, like "smoking weed" (just kidding), and keyword target teens that like to smoke weed. For example, "Love to Get High? - Make friends in NYC with other teens that do drugs." LOL, something along those lines. And so you could scale this by targeting a ton of different teen interests.
Two other ideas:
1) You'll probably want to try using a landing page for each angle you're targeting so you can make the connection better between the specific angle and the general product LP.
2) I would search forums for old Zwinky campaign ideas, since this product looks pretty similar.
Hope that helps. Good luck!

This product is similar to zwinky in a way but then it isn't. Zwinky was mainly ran by "Cartoon Yourself" and "Doll Yourself" sounds weird. I have one ad thats almost breaking even going broad. I tried the category target option for fashion but didn't seem to get any clicks. Im looking to get a payout bump its pretty steady at 20% conversions.

The problem is that this advertiser is very strict about what people can and can't do with their ad copy. I tried the celeb angle last month and got good CTRs (0.25+ on Facebook, which means 6c clicks for young traffic) but Stardoll said the celeb ad copy wasn't allowed once I tried to scale. They want people to push it with very plain ads so it backs out better for them, which makes it tough to get decent ROI. They also only allow in-game images so it's hard to get good CTRs without a really hyped up ad copy.

Any tips on wording the adcopy?
Right now im doing:
Create your doll!
Take your doll shopping! Give your doll a makeover! You can do all this for free in Stardoll!
Of course translated in the language of wherever I am targeting.

I've been critiquing adcopy for our affiliates running Stardoll and I'd be glad to help provide some feedback on what's working, privately.

Anyone try the preapproved creatives from Stardoll themselves?
