Hello Stacker's

I am trying to build a self hosted email software and below are some thoughts.

Features:

• Import exsting list

• Sign up forms,Double optin(email confirmation),Open rate,Click thru

• Creating templates,A/B Split test,spam score

• Scheduling emails

• No limit on contacts

Model:
One time price script and pay per email transaction with a service provider.
Self Email hosting one biggest road block is dealing with sending mass email and spam filters.
Solution: Using other services to send email (pay per email transaction).
Sending limits: Use around 3/4 different services free email around 200/Day each(600-800 email daily) then pay as you go.

Hosting:
Cloud hosting mostly free.
Tech:Java, no source code.

Please post suggestion and extra features you want to see.

My immediate question would be what you offer beyond other well-known solutions? Interspire, Sendy etc.

Sounds interesting, but it's a crowded market you're entering.

Automated Campaigns :
Automatically based on date, time, or a behavior like a click.

If you offer a AR that allows 3rd party lists to be uploaded, you can make some nice $$.
