Lead quality idea

So I want to mix in different traffic sources for my adult dating offers, and as we all know certain traffic sources have higher quality traffic than others. With that premium traffic comes premium cost. I'd like to throw in some cheaper traffic, but not get me kicked off the offer.

How can I break my traffic sources into encrypted tracking id's so the advertiser sees that I'm getting my traffic from multiple sources, but he can't see what traffic sources they are since its encrypted?

Ideally, the advertiser can simply say I need to pause one traffic source due to low quality but I can stay on the offer due to my other traffic sources much higher quality.

Talk to your AM and pass code names for your different tracking sources as a subid. Also, if you want to get really elaborate - you can MD5 hash your codenames...

I figure the easy solution is to use "site1" "site2" etc. but that could get super messy and confusing with 10+ campaigns

Some networks have "source id" as a required variable when you send traffic. They specifically will tell you not to use the actual site/placement (so you won't give out your sources) - so the only way is to keep a spreadsheet or notes of whatever you call it, and what it actually is. So then they can tell you to pause traffic on a specific source rather than as a whole.

With networks that use cake, I always use that as the s1 variable since that should be static anyhow (due to character # limitation). In Has Offers, they usually have it literally as source ID.

I always send 01 / 02 / 03 etc to the network as s1 (cake) and I have an excel sheet to match up what # = what source if I ever need it, seems simple enough

I subId each campaign and if an advertiser kicks me off an offer, I'll ask my AM to find out if certain subIDs are backing out better than others. Often they'll let you restart traffic on the profitable campaigns.

Besides being good for staying on offers, it's useful information for CPS campaigns...
