Tracking with CPVLab?

I have started back in FB recently and can't seem to find an answer to what seems like a basic question.

How do I change my CPVLab tracking link without creating a new ad every single time?

I create my ad, then click create a similar ad to make a headline change/image change/etc. and when I change my tracking link to &ad=101 to &ad=102, all the information disappears and I have to re-do all the ad settings.

Last time I tried out FB (last year), I don't remember this happening.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Thanks!

Is this with the Power Editor or the regular Facebook interface?

Power Editor is very buggy and a pita.

There's some things you can change in bulk (by highlighting multiple ads) - and it works fine, but some aspects of the ad, if you change it, you'll lose your headline for example (like if you're changing the objective or switching from new to old ad types, etc)..

Regular FB Interface, I'm looking at the Power Editor now.
If I create campaigns/ads in Power Editor and change the tracking link, it won't reset all the settings?
Thanks!

I've never had a problem with the Power Editor resetting like that, no.

However, as larceny says, the Power Editor is pretty buggy. Give it a go and see how it works for you.

Just use the power editor...

My biggest issue with it is that it freezes when you try to edit the interests (when that tab is selected) and you select different ads, by the time I edit 4 ads it's froze my chrome up.
