Hey Stackers,
I've hit a small rut and would appreciate any guidance you may have. I am an AM rookie, running my first niche dating campaign on POF. After $600 and a week of collecting data, I've narrowed down the high CTR/CVR traffic to primarily Australia. I want to scale it up, but it seems like there is barely any traffic there.
My targeting is super broad:Men 35-60 /yo looking for women, under 250 logins, $35K+/yr.
I've played with the bid amount, even put it at $5 for a little bit and it didn't seem to make a big difference.
I'm running ads 1pm-1am AUS time. Over 12 hrs, I'm only getting 35k impressions total over my four different camps.
Any tips on how to get my ads in front on more Aussie eyes?
Thank you in advance!
Hey mate,
Have you tried the different creative sizes? That's always the easiest way of getting more volume.
Try profile page ads too. There's some useful traffic there that's often under-utilised.
Remember that Ben recently changed the 160x600 position to convert better - it used to be the most under-subscribed banner spot. Definitely worth a test now.
Just to follow up. I made some 160x600s & 300x250s and sure enough volume more than quadrupled. The strange thing is the larger ads have been less expensive than the 110x310s thus far. It's a little early to speak on performance, but so far my 300x250s are way ahead of the pack and the 110x310s & 160x600s are close to even. I'm going to add 278x90s & profile page ads to the mix too and do some more testing. Thanks for the help.
