Hey guys
So I'm running an offer from peerfly atm. Made a youtube video, cloaked the affiliate link behind a domain name, and put it in the description (simple beginner stuff). All of a sudden I start getting comments saying my link is coming up as adware on people's machines WTF!!!
I contacted Peerfly and my AM says it's because people who are not in the allowed countries are being redirected, thus causing a flag..
I find this hard to believe, but maybe she's right.. In any case, that means one could only run these offers with Paid Targeted Traffic, even if it's something as small as a zip submit!!
I need a way around this, or a real answer as to why this is happening.. Anyone know anything about this?
Cheers
You've answered it. Or your AM has..
You need to find an international offer, or a straight link from a network that has no geo redirect or proxy protection on it.
Also, if you search peerfly's tracking links in McAfee siteadvisor.. they are all flagged as dangerous..

Oh wow, that's interesting.. are there any networks that don't use geo redirect? I would assume they all do.. I'm in peerfly, maxbounty, and F5.. The offer I was running was good for US,CA,UK,AU, and NZ...
