Fellas, is there a rule a thumb for what the budget should be for a campaign in relation to the demo size? I try to keep my frequency caps low. I have been experimenting a lot over the last few weeks. Was wondering if there was a general consensus here for this.
Finally seeing some good results on a new campaign I just setup. Feelin' good
What are your aims here? Avoiding high frequency, maximising volume, or not spending too much when initially testing?
I think he is asking
For example ...
Demo size is 500k, set budget to $50 for the day.
I think it really depends.
If it's late in the day I tend not to put too high a budget because FB will try to spend it before midnight and usually results in poor ROI.
It can all be changed so I put it at a decent number $30-$50 per 500k people initially, but I tend to duplicate a campaign (exactly the same targeting ads etc) and put them both a bit lower than if I just have one, I find the spend is bit more even and with how random FB can be, it doubles the chance of one of your ads getting a cheap cpc.
So example: if I had a 500k targeting group and I was going to put 50$ per day, I'd duplicate it and put $30 for each campaign.
Thanks dudes, this gives me some pretty good insight.

This would be after testing, if my demo was xxx,xxx size curious what I should make my budget and also keep frequency down. I have found having a budget of say $100 and a demo of 200k causes a 4.0+ frequency throughout the day. $20-30 seems like a good number per 200k. Sometimes though frequency goes above 2.0 which I try to stay below.
