Hi guys, I upgraded VPS server at beyondhosting, all LPs and links are working fine, but prosper doesn't show any clicks neither in the spy view, or group overview.
Any ideas why that might happen?
Did you add the script to your landing page before the </body> tag ?
Losing money guys, anyone give some suggestions.
hard to say, could be a number of things. would need a little bit more detail
this may be a stupid question, but are you sure you have the settings in the visitors or spy view set correctly like dates, network, etc?
i hate to ask that, but to be honest with ya ive had issues in the past that ive spent a bit of time trying to solve and never bothered to look at the obvious.
EDIT: i found a guide that may help you
http://www.adhustler.com/how-to-fix-...stops-working/
checked it a million times.
wish I could help out more, but im a little stumped. could you provide a little bit more info?
I'm guessing that this was related to your post a bit later?

My suggestion for debugging this would be to create a new testing landing page, with nothing on it but a single line of text and a link to Google or similar, set up with the appropriate tracking codes. See if that tracks clicks OK: that'll tell you if the problem is with the specific landing page, or with Prosper as a whole.
After that, if it turns out Prosper's still not tracking any clicks, I'd very carefully check to make sure I hadn't made any mistakes with the Spy View filter, particularly making sure I was seeing ALL clicks not just filtered clicks.
Then I'd probably go into the appropriate Prosper tracking page and start adding PHP Echo statements to check the script was running, and also check whether Prosper was actually recording clicks by looking at the database either on the command line or with PHPMyAdmin.
Are you using Prosper or the STM tracker, btw?
I would start with Caurmen's suggestion of creating a test campaign to help you decide which way to proceed. Create a new campaign that points to a site like Google or something. Pull a tracking link and test it out. Does it redirect to the destination properly? Does the click show up in Spy view for you? If this works then I would rebuild one of your existing campaigns from the ground up. Recreate the campaign and test it direct linked. If that works then add in the landing page. Get new LP code and pull a link to test it. The key here is to move through the process in a logical order and retest at each step so you can start ruling things out and hopefully identify the point of failure.
Hopefully this will help you determine if there is a problem with your Prosper install or if there is a problem with the way your campaigns are set up. If the test campaign doesn't work then you'll probably have to dig into your Prosper setup a bit more. If you are able to recreate a campaign and get it to work you will probably find what is causing problem along the way.

i sett up a new camp, tested the link and get this
Warning: fopen(/home.../public_html/mobile/3rd-parties/geoip/GeoIPOrg.dat): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/.../public_html/mobile/3rd-parties/geoip/geoip.inc on line 385
Can not open /home/.../public_html/mobile/3rd-parties/geoip/GeoIPOrg.dat
Apparently maxmind geoip file was missing, i uploaded it to the directory, but get other error messeges, do i need to set up database again after i upload GeoIp file?
Thanks
hey Rafael -- i had the same issue with BH when I upgraded my VPS.
They needed to move the GEOIP database to another location on the server -- even though I uploaded to 3rd-parties directory.
I think Robert (support manager) fixed mine - none of the other reps seemed to be able to figure it out.
Yea, nothing was recording. Also got the exact same error when I ran the campaign URL. (i.e GEOIP, blah, blah)
Ask for Robert Saul, their support manager. He is familiar with the STM tracker, and has set it up several times. (I asked when I had the problem)
He got it fixed pretty quick - after a day of back and forth with other reps.
It sounds almost identical to the issue I had.
Ok, at least now you know what the problem is. I would open a ticket with BH. They should be able to get this fixed for you pretty quickly. I know others here have had similar problems with getting the Maxmind DB to work properly on Beyond. If I remember correctly, it has to do with BH already having Maxmind DBs installed and it needs to go in a different directory (/var/lib/GeoIP/ ?).
Regardless, just tell them you are trying to install the STM mobile tracker but are having problems with the GeoIPOrg DB. They should be familiar with what you're doing and should be able to sort you out.
