Been messing with exit pops on a campaign, and yeah this seems a bit anal, but maybe a forum member has info..
Any ideas on best text for grabbing visitors attention for the javascript box that pops on exit..?
I'm not having much luck getting users to stay..
I've tried:
Wait!
One Moment Please!
Before You Go..
Attention!
Any others that seems to stop people better? ha..
TIA

It totally depends on context. I don't use the same text for every exit pop.
My process for generating text on exit pops is by going back to the ad the user clicked on to start with. Users were obviously tempted by the ad to click, but something on the lander put them off. That's where I start drawing inspiration from.
Obviously this strategy won't work if you a running pop traffic. In that case I would try research best emailing headlines.
