Its it Just Me or Do you hate the new "ad objectives" .... Wish We Could Go Back!

At first I really liked it and thought it was going to be beneficial to me to chose ad objectives specifically website clicks but now after having some accounts on the old advertising lay out and some accounts on the new advertising lay out I can safely say I get MUCH MORE PROFIT on the old way. Here is what I have found......

New Way - Choosing an objective

website clicks ..... Pros Cheap Website Clicks, Cons they do not get posted to your fan page, you do not get the benefit of all the fans on your fan page seeing the post nor do you get the shares. I have found the days I get tons of people sharing my post to be insanely profitable and more often then not the momentum of profit continues. IE NO SHARED STORES

post promotion Pros SHARES!!!! Cons .... website clicks are INSANELY HIGH! Its to high to be profitable in most cases. Another con is not being able to see cost per website click on the main page. You have to go into full report and click on the tabs to show you website clicks and the cost per clicks. Its a real pain in the ass.

OLD WAY..... With the old way you could promote a post, the website clicks were cheaper, shares generated a lot of added interest and costs a ton less for said interest and the stats I wanted were right on the main screen with no clicking around to find them.

It makes sense. FB make more money this way. As long as there are still brands with bottomless budgets not caring about performance, then FB can do what they like.

There is really no point in reminiscing about how FB USED to be. It's not like they're going to revert back. Instead of thinking about this type of stuff, it's a better use of time to just figure out their new system..
